Way before computer graphics technology had reached its present utmost stage of development, Hollywood filmmakers were using an assortment of tricks and strategies to make their films visually stunning. It: With Harry Anderson, Dennis Christopher, Richard Masur, Annette O'Toole. Back in the old days if you wanted to put something in a film, you had to literally construct it and shoot it. If you look at your average summer blockbuster youll notice that if you were to take away its computer-generated imagery, large chunks of the film ceases to exist.
